We are seeking an experienced
Senior Test Analyst
to play a key leadership role in the planning, execution, and delivery of high-quality testing and quality assurance outcomes for large-scale ICT solutions.
In this role, you will provide hands-on testing expertise and technical leadership across the full software testing lifecycle, applying risk-based and requirements-driven testing principles to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements. You will work closely with delivery teams and stakeholders, contribute to strategic testing decisions, and mentor team members to uplift testing capability and quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver software testing and quality assurance activities for complex ICT solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and system requirements.
* Apply risk-based and requirements-driven testing approaches to ensure effective coverage and data-driven test execution.
* Develop a strong understanding of business and technical requirements, translating these into robust testing strategies and deliverables.
* Define and deliver testing activities in line with established test policies, strategies, and frameworks, including test plans, cases, scripts, data, and documentation reviews across multiple levels and environments.
* Plan, create, execute, and maintain:
* Functional testing using ISTQB techniques, with a focus on identifying reusable automation artefacts.
* Non-functional testing aligned to ICT solution quality characteristics.
* Test automation including planning, design, and development of test scripts, frameworks, and methodologies.
* Regression and End-to-End (E2E) testing to validate full business scenarios and system integrations.
* API and microservices testing (REST, SOAP, JSON/XML).
* Manage and support the defect lifecycle, including defect triage, root cause analysis, reporting, and test metrics.
* Provide testing leadership during changes to scope and delivery timelines.
* Coach and mentor team members on testing standards, tools, and best practices.
* Collaborate across delivery teams to monitor quality throughout each SDLC phase and clearly communicate testing outcomes and risks to stakeholders.
* Ensure testing methods align with best-practice ICT testing frameworks, including strategies, processes, tools, templates, and standards.
* Maintain and grow expertise in modern testing practices, including automation, DevOps, AI testing, and cloud-based quality engineering.
Mandatory Requirements
* ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) or international equivalent.
Desirable Skills & Experience
* Additional ISTQB certifications, highly regarded:
* Technical Test Analyst (CTAL-TTA)
* Test Automation Engineer (CTAL-TAE)
* AI Testing (CT-AI)
* Demonstrated recent experience in functional testing.
* Basic SQL writing and execution skills.
* Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and other test management tools.
* Experience with test automation tools and frameworks in Agile/DevOps environments.
