We are seeking a talented and experienced Real Estate Transaction Specialist (Corporate Real Estate) to lead significant and major real estate acquisitions and lease transactions within Australia, and other countries within the ANZSP region.
The role will be ideally based in Brisbane but we are open to exceptional candidates based in Sydney or Adelaide with hybrid work arrangements. If you are located outside of Brisbane, the role would require regular travel.
The role interacts with internal and external customers and business partners concerning matters of significant importance to the Boeing Company including development of long and short range tactical plans (e.g., site, office, manufacturing, warehouse) with facilities options to satisfy multiple project objectives (e.g., cost, schedule, location, conceptual layout, process/people flow) and assessing resources (e.g., assets, space, budget, labor) in order to create the best value for the customer and the company.
About the Role:
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processesEstablishes strong working relationships with peers and business partnersPresents to executive leadership to gain concurrence on strategy, tactics, funding and project statusManagement of regional transaction activity through third party service providerProvide oversight to minimise risk and meet enterprise objectives and ensuring financial and business terms/conditions minimise risk and meet enterprise objectivesProjects range from in-depth space planning studies, all real estate transactions including lease and purchase acquisitions, sub-lease, lease terminations and property dispositionsProvide oversight of transaction workflow, financial analysis, valuation studies and reporting for regional activities, office refurbishments, office closures, small office implementations while ensuring Boeing and local in-country security and safety initiatives/standards are metResponsible for working closely with the well-established Property, Legal and Supplier Management departments in the US and other Boeing and non-Boeing business partners and suppliers globally
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
8-10 + years in Real Estate TransactionsAdapts effectively to changing tasks, structures, processes, and cultures while maintaining performance and composurePromotes continuous improvement through innovative solutions and engagement with stakeholdersCommits to continuous learning and development, seeking feedback, applying lessons learned, and maintaining required knowledge and skillsMaintains effectiveness during major organisational or process changes; adjust priorities and approaches as neededEncourages innovation and different approaches to solve problems; support implementation and adoption of changePlans and organises work: involve stakeholders, anticipate key events, allocate resources, assign responsibilities, and set deadlinesMonitors progress against plans; analysis of information, makes decisions, and adjust course as requiredAbility to make strategic decisions by gathering information, evaluating alternatives, and committing to long-range goals consistent with organisational valuesFosters teamwork and collaboration: aligns with team energy and expertise toward common objectives and collaborates effectively across functionsBudget Management: knowledge of budgeting principles and practicesBusiness Analysis: perform requirements definition, process analysis, and specification development using appropriate methodologies (plan-driven or adaptive)Effective Written Communication: produce clear proposals, reports, guides, presentations, and other materials for varied audiencesInformation Technology Fluency: use PCs, web tools, and business systems to manage and interpret data; proficient with standard office software.Risk Criteria: identification and application of risk criteria and prevention strategiesWe require Australian PR and above as there will be a requirement to apply for a AGSVA security clearance
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
Bachelor's Degree in a Property or business-related disciplineOther qualification in property management
