Cranfield Group has exclusively partnered with a leading civil contractor who is recruiting for a Senior Estimator in Sydney.
A trusted name in transport and utilities Infrastructure—known for delivering some of the state's most high profile projects.
The Role
You'll lead mid-to-large water infrastructure tenders, driving end-to-end submissions, pricing, and methodology whilst working with a collaborative team:
* Manage tenders for pipelines, pump stations & treatment facilities
* Review tender docs & prep accurate cost estimates
* Source & assess supplier/subbie quotes
* Quantify labour, materials & equipment needs
* Create simple AutoCAD or SketchUp models
* Keep pricing databases & registers up to date
* Support & mentor junior team members
Experience
* Australian working rights are essential
* Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or similar
* Comprehensive estimating experience (civil and/or water)
* Water infrastructure experience highly advantageous
* Great written & verbal communication skills
* Confident with Excel & Word
* Solid, long-term employment history
* Proactive, eager to learn & strong work ethic
