You will work closely with the Managing Director, take ownership of the commercial estimating function, mentor a junior estimator, and play a visible role in shaping how the business grows.

This is a unique opportunity to join a thriving, collaborative team dedicated to growing the business across Irrigation, Construction and Maintenance division.
About the Role
As Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for leading the end to end estimating function for commercial landscape and civil projects, typically valued between $1m and $5m.
Key responsibilities include:
Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial landscape and civil projects
• Manage full tender process from initial review through to submission and post tender negotiations
• Complete quantity take offs, trade comparisons, supplier evaluations, and cost benchmarking
• Drive cost effective and solutions orientated engineering initiatives
• Liaise with builders, consultants, suppliers, and internal
• Support delivery teams during project handover to ensure cost assumptions are clearly communicated
• Maintain and improving estimating systems, and standard operating procedures
• Mentor and developing a junior estimator to build internal capability
• Contribute to forecasting, pipeline planning, and monthly work winning targets
What you bring
You are a Senior Estimator with proven commercial landscaping or civil construction experience, well respected in the industry, and known for both your technical proficiency and your ability to build strong client and colleague relationships.
Key experience
Must Have - Estimating commercial landscaping and or civil construction projects
• Highly Desirable Experience on projects ranging from $1m+ in value
• Exposure to schools, councils, government, or tier 1&2 builder projects highly regarded
