Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for community building? We are seeking a Head of Admissions who understands that enrolling a student isn't just a transaction—it's the beginning of a lifelong partnership.

In this pivotal leadership role, you won't just manage a waitlist; you will be the guardian of our College culture, ensuring that every family who joins us are aligned with our values and poised to thrive in our unique educational setting.

About Us

St Andrew's Anglican College is an award-winning independent school located in the heart of the Sunshine Coast, recognised for its vibrant community, innovative programs, and commitment to helping students move confidently into their futures. With more than 1,400 students from Prep to Year 12 and a thriving Early Learning Centre, St Andrew's continues to grow as a leader in education and a place where staff and students alike are inspired to achieve their personal best.

About the Role

As the Head of Admissions, you will report to the Director of Community Engagement to drive our enrolment strategy. You will be the bridge between data-driven strategy and human-centered connection.

What you'll do

Your key impact areas will include:

* Future-Proofing the College: Executing strategic enrolment goals that build upon our current success, ensuring we continue to progress and thrive for generations to come.
* Brand Ambassadorship: Partnering with the Community Engagement team to articulate our values and culture to prospective families.
* Leadership: Mentoring the Admissions Administrator and overseeing the daily operations of a high-performing, professional office.
* Event Excellence: Leading the charge on Open Day tours, Insights and new parent information evenings, scholarship programs, and recruitment events.
* Data Intelligence: Analysing the student journey—from first inquiry to graduation—to provide actionable insights for the Principal and Executive team.

About You

You are a "people person" with an analytical mind. You know how to read a spreadsheet, but you also know how to read a room.

Selection Criteria

* A deep understanding of cultural fit and the ability to build authentic rapport with students and parents.
* Exceptional written and oral skills, with the ability to represent the College with poise and professionalism.
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (experience with TASS is a significant advantage).
* A proven track record of working across departments to achieve shared goals.
* Ability to manage complex timelines, events, and data points while staying flexible to the needs of the school calendar.

Qualifications & Requirements

* Demonstrated experience in Admissions/Enrolments within the education sector, OR a strong background in Educational Leadership.
* A current, valid Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
* The flexibility to attend after-hours events as required.

Why join us?

This is an opportunity to hold a "seat at the table" in shaping the demographic and cultural future of our College. You will work in a supportive, high-energy environment where your contributions directly impact the sustainability and vibrancy of our community.

St Andrew's has a commitment to creating environments for children and young people to thrive. We encourage all potential applicants to read and reflect their agreement of the Code of Conduct for Anglican Schools which is located on our website.

St Andrew's is an equal opportunities employer, ATSI people are encouraged to apply for positions within the College, and all candidates must be eligible for working with children blue card, and prospective candidates are required to undergo a check against the Anglican Church National Standards Register.
