Job Summary
ERM is seeking a motivated Principal Contaminated Land Consultant to join our team in Perth to support our services in the mining, government and oil & gas sectors. The ideal candidates will bring significant consulting experience, in order to provide technical leadership, strategic direction, people skills and strong project management. An interest in applying existing knowledge and expertise to solve complex challenges to all our clients is critical.

Key Responsibilities
* Understanding client needs and delivering sustainable outcomes and closures;
* Initiating and leading sales efforts, including proactive business development, proposal writing and delivery
* Managing large, complex, multidisciplinary projects
* Producing, overseeing and reviewing the compilation of technical project reports
* Managing and mentoring multiple project teams
* Team Leader mentoring the careers of the Team's junior consultants
* Serving as the Service Area lead for the business unit or geography
* Utilising established networks, internally and externally to benefit ERM and client delivery
Requirements
* Bachelor or Master's degree in earth science, environmental science, engineering, planning or related field.
* 10+ years of consulting experience with contaminated sites, including experience of working with the mining, oil and gas, manufacturing, infrastructure or development sectors within the WA market.
* The preferred candidate would have existing client contacts and a sound knowledge of the local Perth / WA market on which to build.
* Understanding of local regulatory context, including established relationships with regulatory stakeholders.
* Business acumen to understand business risk and challenges, and recognise corporate opportunities.
* Demonstrable track record in delivering sales results annually, including successfully winning large and strategic projects.
* Proven experience mentoring and growing a team of consultants to produce high performing teams.
* Authorisation to work in Australia.
