Central Gippsland Health is the major health service provider in the Wellington Shire. We serve an immediate population of Central Gippsland and reach a wider community in East Gippsland in terms of more specialised services such as perinatal services, critical care and surgery.
We provide a broad range of primary, secondary and tertiary services, including a near comprehensive range of aged care and community services, through to adult intensive, coronary care and level 4 neonatal care.
The health service has acute campuses at Sale, Maffra and Heyfield; community and home support services are provided with centres in Maffra, Sale, Heyfield, Rosedale and Loch Sport; and residential aged care services at Sale, Maffra and Heyfield. At Sale Hospital, which is the largest hospital campus within Central Gippsland Health, there is a 24-hour emergency department, operating theatres, Critical Care Unit, Paediatrics, Dialysis, Oncology, medical ward which includes Palliative care, Rehab, AOD care, surgical wards which includes Orthopaedics, and Midwifery services that include Antenatal, Intrapartum, Postnatal care and the Special Care Nursery.

11. Be a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
12. Have sound clinical skills
13. Be willing to learn and develop advanced critical thinking skills
14. Demonstrate a committed to nursing as a profession
