Our Opportunity
Due to high demand and extensive growth trajectory, we are looking for a passionate Estimator to join our sales team. Located in Prestons, some of the responsibilities include however are not limited to.
* Understand mechanical scope of work/s and review drawings.
* Offer technical solutions to our customers mechanical needs.
* Provide budget and fixed estimates/quotes from technical drawings and specifications.
* Liaise with customers on quote related queries.
* Work in a team to assist with key account planning initiatives, including high level negotiations.
* Assist in high level submission tenders and proposals.
* Represent NEPEAN at industry & trade events.
* Work with management to build and foster strong relationships with customers.
The Person To Be Considered For This Role You Will Have
* Possess a strong passion for engineering/ technical solutions.
* Strong experience in a similar role within the engineering, manufacturing, construction or mining industries.
* Heavy Fabrication and large-scale machining exposure desirable.
* Tertiary qualifications in either a trade, estimating, project management or engineering is advantageous.
* Role could suit an experienced tradesperson looking for the next step in their career.
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Strong organisation, attention to detail and problem solving skills.
* Able to work autonomously and enjoys a team environment.
* Able to work with strong deadlines.
* Obtain a positive and professional attitude.
