**The role**: The role will capture, analyse, prioritise and present ICT strategies and investments to governing bodies in support of the ICT investment decisions making processes. Develop Digital and ICT strategies, plans and roadmaps as required that align with Departmental and whole of Government strategic direction in collaboration with executive management, clinical leaders, ICT leaders, program sponsors and stakeholders.
- Provide executive management, ICT governance boards, program sponsors and stakeholders with expert and timely information on Digital and ICT investments, recommendations and analysis advice to ensure Digitally enabled business change is well planned, managed and maximises the value of ICT to health service delivery and outcomes.
- Develop, review and provide recommendations on briefs, submissions, presentations, reports and information papers to strategically and clearly communicate QH Digital Health and ICT strategies, policies and plans to executive management, clinical leaders, ICT leaders, program sponsors, other agencies and external stakeholders.
- Perform analysis of both internal and external planning information by consistently and independently validating information from multiple sources both internal and external.

- Demonstrated research, analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills with the ability to develop strategic ICT and Digital plans, including strategic and tactical options and recommendations to achieve desired outcomes.
- Demonstrated knowledge or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of trends, strategic directions and technologies influencing the delivery of health services.
- Proven highly developed interpersonal, presentation, written, consultation and facilitation skills with the ability to consult, negotiate, persuade, advise and maintain effective relationships with senior and multi-disciplinary staff.
- Proven experience in the development and delivery of ICT and Digital strategy, investment roadmaps and business planning and planning methodologies in large, complex and geographically dispersed service delivery organisations.
- Highly motivated and self-directed to achieve results with evidence of a strong client focus and ethical working behaviour.
