 
        
        Policy and Project Support Officer 
The Department of Health is seeking a Policy and Project Support Officer to work in the Clinical Quality, Regulation and Accreditation (CQRA) Group. 
The Policy and Project Officer will work under the direction of the CQRA Manager Strategy and Reform and play a key role in coordinating the timely preparation and provision of high-quality briefings and reports regarding CQRA policy, workforce, research, quality improvement, innovation, legislative, regulatory, and project implementation issues. 
The Team 
The CQRA Group consolidates the provision of specialist advice to the Secretary and portfolio Ministers on clinical governance, quality improvement, licencing, regulation and accreditation of health facilities, clinical practice and clinical care provision, credentialing of health professionals, approvals of recent devices, technologies and interventions, health professional discipline-specific matters and workforce issues. 
The Role 
Coordinate the timely preparation and provision of high-quality briefings and reports regarding CQRA policy, workforce, research, quality improvement, innovation, legislative, regulatory, and project implementation issues. 
Provide project support to the CQRA team through the administration and coordination of several concurrent project activities associated with planning, monitoring, research, quality improvement, and innovation. 
Provide executive and secretariat support to CQRA and State-wide committees, as required. 
Responsibilities and Requirements 
The successful applicant will have experience in policy development, project management, and administrative support. They will have excellent communication and analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. 
Employment Details 
This is a fixed-term, full-time position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 21 September 2026. The salary range is $81,915 - $94,263 per annum (pro rata) + 12% superannuation + access to salary packaging.
