This is an exciting opportunity to join a team and contribute to the delivery of innovative procurement solutions.
As the Procurement Business Partner, you will play a key role in driving strategic sourcing, ensuring compliance with legislation and partnering with stakeholders to deliver effective procurement outcomes.
The main duties of this role include:
 * Developing and implementing procurement plans, evaluation plans, pre-tender briefings, requests for tenders, contract documentation, evaluation reports, council reports and other documentation required to support the complete procurement process.
 * Managing tendering, formal quotation and EOI's lifecycle and guiding internal customers through the process from initiation to evaluation completion.
 * Participating in tender evaluation panels ensuring probity, confidentiality, consistency and transparency is maintained throughout the entire process.
 * Business partnering and decision support through working with the Budgeting and Financial Analysis Team to build positive relationships with stakeholders to build procurement literacy.
 * Providing advice to delegated authorities to enable sign-off on procurement processes and/or contracts.
 * Managing the access and training of staff in the key application tools for procurement - including web portals and online supplier Panel lists and contracts.

About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:
 * Certificate IV in Procurement/Contracting (minimum) and/or extensive equivalent experience in a similar role.
 * Demonstrated experience providing high level procurement advice and support in procurement processes including tenders, quotations, and expressions of interest in a large multi-functional government Organisation.
 * Demonstrated experience in developing, maintaining and reviewing policies, procedures, systems and processes within a Procurement function.
 * Demonstrated working knowledge and experience in interpreting Government Legislation as it relates to tendering, governance, record-keeping and probity functions.
 * Proof of Australian residency or citizenship, or authority to work in Australia (visa).
 * A current Class C Drivers Licence.
