Discovery Parks, Rottnest Island features 83 luxury tents across several service levels, a resort style pool and Pinky's restaurant offering inside and outside dining areas with spectacular views.
The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our culinary team at Discovery Resorts on Rottnest Island. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality dining experiences that delight our guests and uphold our reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes in line with our menu standards.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen environment.
* Collaborate with the kitchen and service teams to ensure timely and efficient food service.
* Assist in menu planning and contribute innovative ideas for new dishes.
* Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
About You / Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional food quality.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
* Current driver's license (desirable).
