is working with a small-medium sized engineering consultancy who are seeking an experienced grid connection professional to develop their expertise over East. Historically a Perth based consultancy, the business is now ready to ramp up operations over East, with a large pipeline of work with developers.
The successful candidate will allow them to continue their upward trajectory, becoming a sought after and reliable technology partner and enabling them to support their clients even more.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced power systems engineer (minimum of senior engineer level) to grow the businesses grid connection expertise over east, from building a team, through to establishing relationships with a number of high-profile developers in the NEM.
The Role:
Lead Power Systems Engineer
Location:
Anywhere in the Eastern states (considering Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne locations)
Salary:
$180,000 - $230,000 + Super

Ideal person:
* Minimum of a senior engineer with experience delivering at least 2 grid connection projects over East.
* Tertiary Qualification in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems, ideally with certification from Engineers Australia.
* Proficiency in the power system analysis tools such as PSS/E, PSCAD. DigSILENT Power Factor and ETAP.
* NER compliance, working alongside AEMO and NSP's to deliver utility scale renewable energy projects.
Desirable:
* Demonstrated ability to manage teams and mentor junior employees.
* Diversity of experience in electrical network engineering.
