We are seeking a passionate and ambitious Graduate or Junior Structural Engineer to join our team in Milperra, NSW. This is a full-time role where you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, gaining valuable experience and developing your skills.
What you'll be doing
* Assist with structural analysis and design of concrete, steel, timber, and masonry structures for a wide variety of different projects.
* Prepare calculations, structural reports, and technical documentation.
* Undertaking analysis and design using a variety of structural software packages such SpaceGASS, Inducta SLB and Structural Toolkit.
* Producing detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
* Liaising with architects, builders, clients an other fellow engineers.
* Attend site inspections and assist with construction-phase queries.
* Support the Director across project delivery and business growth activities.
* Staying up-to-date with the latest industry standards, building codes, and engineering best practice.
What we're looking for
* Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
* A fresh graduate or junior structural engineer with 1-2 years experience in a structural engineering consultancy.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Self-motivated and career-driven.
* Curious, coachable and eager to learn.
* Proficiency in using software such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Passion for delivering high-quality, innovative engineering solutions.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently as needed.
* Current driver's licence required.
* Current white card required.
* Australian citizenship is required for this position.
