What success looks like in this role:
As a Field Engineer at Unisys on an Australian Government account, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality technical support and services to our clients.
Responsibilities:
* Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, performing system installations and maintenance, and providing on-site support to ensure the smooth operation of our clients' IT infrastructure.
* Proven experience in a Deskside support environment performing fault investigation, triaging, and resolution
* Experience with desktop support, server support, hardware, network and software installation and troubleshooting
* Drivers Licence required (Automatic)
* Experience with supporting a corporate Windows environment
* Printing (installation, deployment, configuration, disposals)
* Software and Hardware diagnostic skills and building/upgrading PC's
* Test and Tag experience highly regarded
* Asset Management experience highly regarded
* Minimum of 2 years in supporting Deskside support environment
You will be successful in this role if you have:
* NV1 security clearance must have for this role.
* The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, with extensive experience in Deskside Support, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
