The Opportunity
KCS Services is seeking a motivated and experienced Civil Engineer or Civil Engineering Technician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will support the planning, design coordination, and delivery of civil construction works across a range of infrastructure and site-based projects throughout the Northern Territory.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the planning, coordination, and delivery of civil construction projects, including roads, earthworks, drainage, and site infrastructure.
* Prepare, review, and interpret civil engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
* Provide on-site engineering support, including inspections, surveys, quality assurance, and compliance checks.
* Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and to standard.
* Monitor project progress, safety performance, and environmental compliance.
* Provide practical engineering solutions and technical advice during construction phases.
* Contribute to project documentation such as progress reports, risk assessments, and method statements.
Skills & Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline.
* Demonstrated experience in civil construction projects (site engineering, field engineering, or design support).
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
* Willingness and ability to work on site and perform hands-on field engineering duties.
* Knowledge of Australian standards, WHS requirements, and construction practices (desirable).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $73,612.76 – $97,779.79 per year
