Opportunity
Reporting to the Head Chef at Red Lion Hotel, you are responsible for but not limited to:
* Preparing and producing dishes on the line with our highly efficient and harmonious kitchen team
* Maintaining high level kitchen standards and quality
* Support junior chefs in their training and development
* Assisting in achieving consistent GP and wage results
* Overseeing the food preparation, cooking and cleaning processes
* Ensuring compliance with hygiene and health and safety regulations
* Assist in the efficient Kitchen operations
* Wage management, stocktake and GP monitoring
Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience as a Chef
* Ability to work in a fast‐paced environment
* Strong commitment to delivering excellence
* A natural team player that seeks opportunities for continuous improvement
* A positive attitude with a strong work ethic and strong communication skills
* Ability to travel independently & reliably
* French cuisine experience will be looked at favorably
