* State Government Opportunity in Parramatta
* ASAP Start
* Contract to 12 September 2025
* $600 – $700 per day + Super
* 35 hours per week
The Role:

As a Communications Officer, you will be responsible for creating, editing, and distributing clear, engaging, and accessible content tailored to a diverse stakeholder audience. You'll play a key role in maintaining the organisation's web and social media presence while supporting strategic initiatives with creative communication solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop high-quality written, visual, and audio content across various platforms.
* Manage and update website and social media channels to ensure relevance and accuracy.
* Support ongoing improvement of communication tools, templates, and workflows.
* Implement communications strategies that inform, engage, and support key stakeholders.
* Advise internal teams on communication best practices and accessibility standards.
* Ensure content reflects current policy and program updates across the organisation.
* Deliver a range of communications-related projects aligned with organisational goals.
About You:
* Demonstrated experience in communications, media, or digital content roles.
* Strong writing and editing skills with a focus on plain English and accessibility.
* Experience managing content for websites and social media.
* A creative, solution-focused mindset with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
* Understanding of public sector communication standards and professional ethics.
