Primary Responsibilities
Sales Management
- Achieve daily targeted number of sales calls with effectiveness.
- Develop business leads for the hotel on a weekly basis.
- Prepare a monthly list of accounts to target for the following month.
- Plan a minimum of 2 site inspections or entertainment meetings per week with qualified potential or new accounts.
- Prepare a monthly action plan for the main market segments.
- Review account profiles monthly, focusing on room night production and average rate.
- Monitor competitors' rate strategies, account penetration, and marketing activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Manage accounts under your responsibility, including contracting, updating profiles, and renewing contracts.
- Update management on VIP arrivals and coordinate meet and greet activities.
- Upsell, cross-sell, and promote hotel facilities and services to maximize revenue.
- Conduct negotiations to secure the best profit margins and rates for the hotel.
- Attend hotel client and local business community events to network and increase visibility.
- Keep the Director of Sales & Marketing informed about market trends and business leads.
Team Management
- Interview, select, and recruit direct reports.
- Identify and develop potential team members.
- Conduct performance reviews with team members.
- Monitor team members' appearance, attitude, and professionalism regularly.
- Develop and conduct staff training programs focusing on their development needs and acquiring new skills.
Other Responsibilities
- Attend all briefings, meetings, and training sessions as assigned.
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
- Be familiar with hotel fire, life safety, and emergency procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

- Understand guest requirements precisely and ensure services meet their expectations.
- Provide effective after-sales service and address guest complaints promptly and efficiently.
