About the role
Kidney Medicine Gosford is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Receptionist / Secretary to join our busy medical practice in Gosford, Central Coast. This part-time role will involve providing essential administrative and clerical support to our team of doctors and nurses. You will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a positive and efficient experience from start to finish.
What you'll be doing
* Greeting and welcoming patients, both in person and on the phone
* Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
* Handling patient inquiries and providing information about our services
* Assisting with the preparation of medical documentation and correspondence
* Providing general administrative support to the clinical team as required
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or Secretary, preferably in a healthcare setting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional manner, and a keen eye for detail
* Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
* Proficiency in using medical software and standard office equipment
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-centric environment
* Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and data security
