State Editor Position
We are seeking an experienced State Editor to lead our newsroom and produce high-quality regional bulletins.
About the Role:
This is a full-time position that requires the successful candidate to be based in Regional Victoria. The State Editor will be responsible for preparing daily news rundowns, subbing reporter scripts, and fact-checking bulletins before they air.
The ideal candidate will have a university qualification in journalism, at least three years of experience in a newsroom producing content, and a well-rounded knowledge base of regional news.
In addition, the successful candidate will have superior communication and relationship-building skills, accuracy, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
