Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN2-8), Primary Care - Casual - Macquarie Correctional Centre
Responsibilities
* Provide reception screening and comprehensive health assessments for persons received into custody.
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing management to address patient needs.
* Deliver care within a primary care setting in a correctional environment while supporting patient outcomes.
* Participate in a supportive health team and contribute to ongoing patient care improvements.
Qualifications
* Qualified Registered Nurse currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
* At least one full year of nursing experience.
Location
Macquarie Correctional Centre, Wellington, New South Wales. The centre houses maximum-security male offenders and is located near Wellington town centre.
