Experienced Administrative and Clinical Coordinator

A well-established medical centre seeks a dedicated team member to perform front desk and administrative operations while leading and supporting our clinical team. This hands-on position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment.


The Role: Senior Administrative and Clinical Coordinator

We are seeking a proactive and experienced individual to oversee the daily workflow within the practice, ensuring staff scheduling is aligned with operational needs. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot issues that arise in real-time, such as staff absences or IT problems.

* Manage day-to-day front desk operations with professionalism and warmth
* Provide leadership and hands-on support to the clinical team

Team Support and Supervision:

* Coordinate and support reception and administrative teams
* Provide induction and on-the-job training for new staff
* Act as a point of escalation for operational queries and minor staff issues


Key Responsibilities:

* Perform a wide variety of tasks including sterilization and infection control when needed
* Coordinate maintenance activities
* Resource Management - Monitor stock levels of medical and office supplies


What You Bring to the Role:

* Ideally have prior management/coordinator experience in a general practice
* Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a GP setting
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
* A positive, self-motivated attitude with a team-first mentality
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Professional phone manner and a high degree of empathy for both patients and team members
* High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
* Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to continuous improvement
