Job Description
Recruitment Innovations Pty Ltd are currently seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Vehicle Painter to join our team in Seymour VIC. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
* Removing rough spots on vehicle panels
* Sanding surfaces by hand and with power sanders
* Masking areas not to be painted with tape and paper
* Color matching and mixing paints to match paint shades, and selecting pre-mixed paint
* Applying primer and finishing coats using spray-guns, and sanding surfaces between coats
* Touching up paintwork and applying polish to vehicles
* Removing masking papers, and waxing and polishing finished paintwork
* Painting signs and artwork on vehicles
* Treating vehicles with rust-proofing chemicals
Skills & Abilities:
* Process-oriented logical thinker
* Good hand-eye coordination
* Strong attention to detail
* Bring a positive attitude to work.
* Meeting Body & Paint standards.
* Maintain Quality standards and minimize re-work.
* Finish all jobs in a timely manner.
Qualifications
* Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing
Experience
* At least 3 years
