This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Property Manager to join the real estate management team in Sydney. We are driven to maximise the performance of our client's assets by developing and implementing commercial property management solutions that enhance value and increase efficiency.
You will build strong relationships with the client's various stakeholders and tenants to ensure that business objectives are met, and expectations are exceeded.
**You will successfully achieve this by**:
- Assisting property managers in developing and maintaining relationships with owners, occupiers, and operational personnel to ensure service excellence is delivered.
- Implementing and maintaining orderly financial management and lease administration procedures.
- Liaising with tenants when requested by property managers regarding lease administration.
- Updating tenancy schedules and ensuring any key action dates are captured.
- Preparing regular reporting, including financial analysis, diary reports and any others as requested.
- Continuous following up on arrears.
- Undertaking frequent inspections in order to oversee the presentation and maintenance of the property assets, ensuring high standards of appearance.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in residential or commercial property management is preferred, but not essential.
- Exposure to financial management, budgeting, forecasting and variance commentary.
- Willingness to work beyond core tasks as necessary to assist with any overflow from colleagues as appropriate.
- Strong Excel and data entry skills.
- Robust organisation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and foster key relationships and your desire to work in a highly team orientated environment.
