At a luxury hotel, we're seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our dynamic Sales & Marketing Team. As a Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive revenue growth, while providing exceptional service to clients.
This key role focuses on both sales and event planning to ensure the hotel is the market leader in its industry. The position directly drives revenue and increases market share across various segments, including rooms, catering, events, groups, and spa services.
The successful candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry, be eager to build a career with a leading hotel chain, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and high attention to detail.
* Develop and execute event strategies, including full event details, menu selection, and creation of internal banquet event orders and billing charges.
* Communicate between clients and reservations departments, assisting with confirming group accommodation requirements.
* Promote loyalty programs and offers during the proposal process.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* Minimum one-two years' experience in a hotel environment or have completed an internship in a business environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication and Microsoft Office skills, and a high attention to detail.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational and interpersonal skills and prioritization of tasks.
