Site support junior- techbar (melbourne)

We are looking for Site Support Technicians (Junior/Graduates) to join the Geelong office.

All applicants must be Australian Citizens or Australian Permanent Residents. Flexible to travel to other locations in the area if required.

Responsibilities

• Providing troubleshooting support via a ticketing system or Techbar/walk-up centre scenario, offering on-the-spot solutions for a variety of hardware related issues for clients.
• Stock room management including auditing of all devices.
• Refresh of old devices swapped with new devices on site.
• Providing customers with overview of installation activity, site-specific information and access to appropriate contacts.
• Handling customer-relation problems promptly and appropriately, providing guidance and escalating issues according to established procedures.
• Assisting with storing deliveries and equipment.
• Providing support to clients and staff in diagnosis and resolution of AV-related problems.
• Ensuring appropriate paperwork flow and work assignment.

• 5+ years experience in a similar role.
• Ability to be a mentor and positive role model to junior technicians.

Additional Requirements

• Minimum Vocational/Diploma/Associate Degree (technical field) with 5+ years of working experience in related fields.
• Worked supporting customers' PC environments with an interest in learning more.

Preferred Certifications

• OEM Certifications (HP, Apple, Dell, Lenovo, Toshiba, MS).
• CompTIA A+, N+, PC.
• Certified Technology Specialist (CTS).
• Crestron Digital Media Certified (DMC‐E4K).
• Windows, Office, Microsoft Teams/Skype for Business.
