Platinum International Toowoomba is seeking a dependable, hands-on Operations & Front Desk Supervisor to support daily motel operations. This full-time role includes front desk duties, staffing coordination, and payroll support, working closely with the General Manager to keep operations running smoothly.
This position is ideal for someone with hotel or motel experience who is organized, reliable, and comfortable being involved in day-to-day operations while helping stabilise staffing.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk & Guest Services
* Provide front desk coverage (check-in/check-out, guest assistance)
* Handle guest issues professionally and efficiently
* Help train and support front desk staff
* Ensure front desk procedures are followed consistently
Staffing & Scheduling
* Advertise and hiring for front desk and housekeeping positions
* Help create and manage staff schedules
* Respond to call-outs and help secure shift coverage
* Track attendance, no-shows, and overtime
Payroll & Administrative
* Submit payroll information accurately and on time
* Maintain basic employee records and documentation
Operations Support
* Support the General Manager with daily operations
* Identify staffing or workflow issues and communicate solutions
* Ensure smooth handoff between shifts and departments
What We're Looking For
* Hospitality or hotel/motel experience required
* Front desk experience strongly preferred
* Strong organisation and communication skills
* Reliable, trustworthy, and professional
* Able to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities
Schedule
* Full-time hours
* Mix of day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed
