Job Description:
We are seeking Occupational Therapists who enjoy the flexibility of working in the community. If you're interested in Paediatrics or have particular caseload interests, then we would like to speak to you.
On a daily basis, you will:
* Manage a caseload and complete therapeutic services.
* Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments.
* Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
* Provide therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based.
* Provide support and advice on adaptations to the environment including home, school, work, and residential facilities.
* Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
* A proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas.
* A desire for a fun, collaborative, and supportive work environment.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently.
* A genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
