About the Role
Due to internal movement, we are seeking a detail-oriented Central Business Support Officer to join our Finance team.
You will support Residential Aged Care, Home Care, Retirement Living, and Housing services, playing a key role in enhancing financial efficiency, compliance, and transparency across our services.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Transactions & Compliance – Process funding claims, manage accounts, and ensure billing aligns with regulations.
Accounts & Reconciliations – Handle accounts payable/receivable, perform reconciliations, and maintain accurate records.
Resident & Client Support – Assist with admissions, discharges, refunds, and ensure transparency in transactions.
Documentation & Contracts – Review and maintain agreements, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
Government Reporting & Notifications – Monitor government notifications and ensure funding and resident records are up-to-date.
Data & Insights – Prepare financial reports, analyze trends, and provide insights to improve services.
Process Improvement – Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and support continuous improvement.
In this role, you'll help ensure residents and clients receive quality care and services, with financial transparency and efficiency at the core.
What you can bring to the team
We're seeking an experienced and detail-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and has a passion for providing efficient financial and administrative support.
You'll be an integral part of our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our services and helping us maintain the highest standards of care, compliance, and financial integrity.
To be suitable for the position, ideally you have:
Minimum 4 years in business support, financial administration, or a similar role
Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (highly regarded)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies
High level of accuracy and compliance focus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Possess or willingness to acquire:
A current National Police Certificate
