Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the design and drafting of road and highway infrastructure projects.
* Support senior engineers in preparing detailed drawings, reports, and specifications.
* Conduct site inspections to gather necessary project data.
* Collaborate with others within the team and external consultants to deliver engineered solutions.
* Ensure compliance with Australian design standards and environmental regulations.
* Contribute to project planning, cost estimation, and risk assessments.
* Participate in client meetings and communicate project progress effectively.
* Maintain accurate project documentation and engineering records.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
* Knowledge of road, highway, and active transport design principles.
* Familiarity with Australian design standards (e.g., Austroads).
* Experience using CAD software such as Openroads, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or MicroStation.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes.
* Current Australian driver's licence.
