About the role
Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, the Finance Business Partner works in partnership with Operational Managers to ensure sound financial management, accurate budgeting/planning, forecasting, interpretation of financial results, and the delivery of high quality reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes, delivering accurate analysis, insights and performance reporting to support organisational decision-making.
Partner with operational leaders as a trusted finance advisor, providing financial modelling, business case analysis and strategic recommendations to optimise resource utilisation and financial outcomes.
Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities, and driving proactive solutions to improve operational and financial results.
Build strong stakeholder relationships and influence decision‑making, fostering a commercially focused culture through collaboration, coaching and continuous process improvement.
What we’re looking for
Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Commerce, with CA/CPA membership (or working towards accreditation).
Strong financial management and analytical expertise, including budgeting, financial modelling, management accounting, reporting, and interpretation of complex financial data.
Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with stakeholders, building effective relationships, communicating financial insights, and managing competing priorities.
Proven leadership, problem‑solving and change management capability, with experience driving financial improvements and ensuring compliance with Australian Accounting Standards.
