The Technology Manager will be an expert with respect to technology that will add value to Bradken's product and service offerings and have the ability to maintain a balance of focus on long-term higher-risk disruptive technology initiatives with short-term lower-risk projects. You will identify research and development opportunities to satisfy customer needs, fill gaps in the market, or open new markets through introduction of disruptive technology.
This position is a true leadership role, developing your direct team and partnering with Bradken's cross-functional teams to deliver the R&D pipeline. Collaboration at a high level is key with internal teams and Product Managers, and leveraging external vendors with oversight of our R&D budget. There will be domestic and international travel required to support Bradken's business objectives in the global market, presenting at industry events and engaging with customers.

**This role can be based in either Newcastle, Brisbane or Perth.**
**Key Technical Criteria**:
- Degree in Mechatronics, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent discipline
- Significant, in-depth experience in research or technical development of successful IoT products
- Previous experience in a leadership role with geographically dispersed teams
- Exposure to the development of digital mining products or solutions relating to asset health or production monitoring - preferred but not essential
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
