About the Role
AMES Australasia is seeking a motivated and people-focused HR Graduate / HR Officer to join our People & Culture team based at our Doncaster Head Office. Working as part of a high-performing HR team, this role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent HR graduate or early-career HR professional to build hands-on experience in a generalist position with responsibilities covering WorkCover Case Management and Talent Acquisition administration within a growing organisation of 500+ employees.
With continued business growth, this role will provide exposure to a dynamic and evolving HR environment, making it ideal for someone who is adaptable, organised and keen to develop their HR career.
Key Responsibilities
WorkCover & WHS Support
* Assist with the administration of WorkCover claims, return-to-work (RTW) plans and ongoing case management
* Liaise with injured employees, managers, insurers and external providers
* Support compliance with WHS policies, procedures and reporting requirements
* Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with legislative requirements
Talent Acquisition Administration
* Provide end-to-end recruitment administration support to managers across multiple sites in Australia
* Coordinate job advertisements, applications and interview scheduling
* Support hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process
* Assist with pre-employment checks and onboarding coordination
General HR Support
* Provide administrative support across a range of HR activities as required
* Maintain confidentiality of employee information at all times
* Support the People & Culture team with reporting, administration and process improvement initiatives
* Ensure all work aligns with AMES Australasia's values, policies and best practice
Skills & Experience
* Tertiary qualification in Human Resources (or similar)
* Graduate or 1–2 years' experience in an HR or administrative role
* Strong organisational, time management and attention-to-detail skills
* Confident communicator with a professional and empathetic approach
* High level of computer literacy
* Ability to prioritise, multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Curious, resilient and eager to learn
