About the role
Based within The Bruce Private Hospital, we have a number of roles along with a Team leader to join our Perioperative team as Ward Persons.
To succeed in this role, you will be an effective and approachable administrative professional with a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Calvarycare values.
Your main duties will include:
* Greet patients and visitors
* Admitting/Discharging patients
* Responds to patient queries via telephone and/or email
* Scheduling appointments
* Processing new referrals and discharge paperwork
* Organise paperwork for filing and medical records
About you:
For the team leader role, we need you to have:
* Proven leadership or supervisory experience
* The ability to share your extensive knowledge of perioperative equipment applications and management
* Commitment to enhance service efficiency and high level of service provision to perioperative surgical teams
For the Wards person role we need:
* Excellent customer service skills
* Reliability and a strong work ethic
* Excellent time management and organisational skills as well as excellent computer skills
