Responsibilities
* Accountable for the development of materiel logistics strategies and plans for information, communications, quality and resources that support the objectives of acquisition projects.
* Lead and coordinate the project ILS teams to support the delivery of the outcomes listed below.
* Develop Integrated Logistics Concepts and Plans to gain approval of all relevant stakeholders.
* Review contractor-devised plans and processes to ensure alignment with Defence integrated logistics concepts and plans.
* Undertake workshops with contractors to remediate issues that arise during the review of contract deliverables.
* Coordinate the review of contractor deliverables across multiple stakeholder entities.
* Work closely with the project engineering team to ensure correct engineering configurations are represented by support products under development.
* Work closely with the Configuration Manager to ensure alignment between support products under development and configuration baselines.
* Provide advice/input into project management and technical reviews and management.
* Provide advice to the Principal Engineer and Project Manager around ILS risks and issues.
