About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker with Concept Care in Campbelltown, you will provide in-home and community-based support tailored to each individual's needs.
Your responsibilities may include:
* Assistance with daily living activities, personal care and medication prompts
* Supporting clinical care requirements such as PEG feeding, bowel care, stoma care and catheter care
* Transport assistance to local appointments, shopping at Macarthur Square or Campbelltown Mall, and social activities at local hubs like the Campbelltown Arts Centre.
* Implementing positive behaviour support strategies when required
* Encouraging independence, skill development, and participation in the local Macarthur community.
This is a varied role where your consistency, presence, and approach make a genuine difference to families in the South West.
Who We're Looking For
We're seeking people who are dependable, respectful and calm under pressure.
You'll be well-suited to this role if you:
* Communicate clearly and respectfully
* Remain composed in challenging situations
* Understand professional boundaries and confidentiality
* Follow processes and complete documentation accurately
* Work collaboratively with clients, families, and our South West Sydney team members.
* Are open to learning, feedback and ongoing development
Experience supporting people with complex behaviours, mental health conditions, ABI, Autism or high-support needs is highly regarded. A Certificate IV in Disability, Aged Care or Community Services is preferred, but not essential for the right candidate.
A current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle are required for travel between clients in Campbelltown and surrounding suburbs.
