Your new role
Join our Place Planning team to support the Town in our mission to become Perth’s most empowered, engaged, inclusive and connected community. The Place Planning team brings together a range of urban specialists to manage the delivery of key city shaping strategies, create great places, and to collectively tackle the complex issues of a vibrant inner-city locality.
In addition to the management of your assigned neighbourhood (Carlisle/Welshpool), you will be responsible for leading the delivery of, and embedding the vision related to the Town’s Integrated Transport Strategy within a cross functional, multi-disciplinary team workplace.
What you’ll need to succeed
- a proactive approach to everything you do

- a passion for cities, the environment and outstanding place outcomes
- a strong commitment to stakeholder engagement, a community-led approach, innovation and diversity
- previous, demonstrated experience in transport planning (or similar) at a senior level, working in a multi-disciplinary organisation
- relevant tertiary qualification/s (transport, urban and regional planning or similar)
