We’re on the lookout for a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for cyber security to join us as a Security Engineer at Australian Retirement Trust (ART) on a 12-month fixed-term basis. In this role, you’ll be hands-on with a range of security technologies like EDR, email security, cloud app protection, and data governance tools, making sure they’re running smoothly and securely. You’ll work closely with our Security Operations crew and other IT teams to keep our systems safe, support incident response, and help shape the future of our security operations. You’ll also play a key part in building strong relationships across tech and project teams, risk and compliance, external consultants, and managed service providers. From reviewing firewall changes to supporting threat intelligence and continuous improvement initiatives, your work will help uplift ART’s security posture and maturity. It's quite likely you’ll tick some of the following boxes too: Specialist knowledge of information security threats, network and web protocols, security devices and operating systems Technical understanding of a range of Information Security platforms, for example: Endpoint Protection, Detection and Response and XDR tools Web and email security Firewall technologies Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) IDS/IPS HIDS/HIPS Identity, Access, Governance and Privileged access management Vulnerability scanning (e.g. Qualys, Nessus) File integrity monitoring and data loss prevention Certificate management Cloud Security Incident and change management Detailed understanding of security incident response processes and frameworks (e.g. Mitre ATT&CK) Knowledge and understanding of contemporary frameworks and/or methodologies e.g. ISO 27001, NIST800-53 and NIST Cyber Security Framework Demonstrate good time management skills and be able to work to deadlines Work both autonomously and collaboratively Relevant vendor certifications (e.g. Cisco, Microsoft, Palo Alto, Trend Micro).
