About the Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned Program Lead to oversee the design and delivery of trauma-aware, strengths-based, and culturally safe programs that elevate lived experience voices in homelessness and domestic, family, and sexual violence.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the growth and delivery of lived experience advocacy programs, ensuring the voices of people with lived experience shape policy, programs, and practice through meaningful engagement and advocacy.
* Build strong partnerships with government, community, and sector stakeholders to support advocacy and impact.
* Oversee sub-contractors, partners, and program components, including culturally specific initiatives and evaluations.
* Promote the program and support ethical, participant-led advocacy, while ensuring compliance, reporting, and management.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Relevant qualifications and sector experience in social work, community development, health promotion, or related fields (postgraduate desirable).
* A strong background in lived experience advocacy and program management.
* Proven ability to build trusted relationships with diverse communities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, CALD groups, and senior stakeholders.
* Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice, co-design principles, and the ethical foundations of lived experience advisory bodies.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce complex documentation and facilitate inclusive, accessible engagement.
