We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Edit Assistant in Byron Bay, Australia. This is a key technical role supporting editors and ensuring a smooth workflow from ingest through to delivery.
* The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to guide junior team members.
* A deep understanding of file formats, codecs, and editorial assets such as AFFs, EDLs, and XMLs is required for this position.
Main Responsibilities
* Prepare and maintain edit timelines and systems for editors, including file structures, naming conventions, sound syncing, footage logging, stringouts, and selects timelines.
* Consolidate edit assets for turnover to post-production finishing, including initial re-conform to raw, sound asset collection, and VFX briefing.
