As a strategic business partner, the Senior HRBP is responsible for managing and providing day-to-day HR services.
This includes efficiently handling the full employee cycle, including attraction, performance management, talent management, career development, and compensation and benefits, in alignment with local Australian regulations and group-wide guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Provide support to the Regional / Sectoral - United/Local HR manager on all HR related aspects within the area of responsibility.
Assess and anticipate HR related needs, communicate needs proactively within the HR department and business management.
Provide day-to-day support and expert advice, guidance, and recommendations to the local managers and management team on operational and strategic HR issues.
Build a strong network across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees, reflecting the organization's business objectives.
Collaborate with hiring managers in the recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
Enhance internal mobility by connecting HR teams across regions to facilitate internal transfers.
Facilitate internal mobility by ensuring seamless coordination between HR teams across regions to comply with transfer policies, involving Heads of Departments (HODs) and HR for approval and execution.
Manage payroll outsourcing to a third party, preferably with SAP background.
Ensure compliance with HR processes in an efficient and cost-effective manner, including data management, storage, and analysis.
Collaborate with management to identify development needs and coordinate employee development and training in line with Talent Management strategies.
Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, boost morale, foster a positive culture, and increase retention.
Ensure full compliance with local laws and international labor legislation as applicable, consulting legal advisors when needed.
Facilitate effective communication within the organization through employee briefings, workshops on HR updates, and engagement initiatives.
Design and coordinate talent programs such as apprenticeships and traineeships, including recruiting and onboarding, aligned with company talent strategies.
Qualifications
University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a relevant professional qualification.
Minimum of 7 years HR experience.
Knowledge of Australian Fair Work legislation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical skills, results-oriented, quick learner.
Excellent communication skills, proactive, self-motivated, and independent.
