Leonora District High School invites applications for a dedicated vocational trainer to join our team, teaching students of all ages with a focus on On-Country Learning Experience.
Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified teacher or vocational trainer who can deliver Certificate II in Engineering Pathways to students in Years 10, 11, and 12, develop projects for Year 7, 8, and 9 students based on Engineering, and deliver hands-on projects for primary school students.
The successful applicant will possess sound communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for working with young people in a flexible training environment. The ability to manage student groups and deliver the required knowledge and skills is highly desirable.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Relevant current industry skills, knowledge, experience, and competency in the engineering vocation or professional field.
* Comprehensive understanding and sound knowledge of the Vocational Education and Training Quality Framework.
* Ability to design and prepare training programs and assessment materials to a high standard.
