Mechanical Fitter/Machinist Apprenticeship
About the role:
As a mechanical fitter/machinist apprentice, you will participate in on-the-job training structured to support your growth into a qualified professional. Our experienced tradespeople will guide you through this journey, ensuring you develop the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in this trade.
* Use tools, machines, equipment, and engineering techniques to maintain and repair mechanical plant and equipment.
* Identify and replace defective or worn components or equipment.
* Perform modifications and manufacture parts using workshop machines, including lathes, milling, and drilling machines.
Upon completion, you will receive a nationally recognized trade Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical. This apprenticeship is designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience, combining workplace-based training with theory and practical components through local TAFE, one day per week.
