As a key member of the Wurru Wurru Health Unit, you will lead the coordination and implementation of the First Nations health curriculum within the Doctor of Medicine programme. You will collaborate with educational leaders, contribute to curriculum development, and ensure cultural safety in medical practice. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of healthcare education and fostering a values-driven culture of innovation.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Lead Curriculum Coordination: Oversee flexible pathways and placements in the First Nations health theme of the MD programme.
* Collaborate with Educational Teams: Work with curriculum coordinators, tutors, and clinical school leads to ensure consistent implementation.
* Support Curriculum Development: Provide guidance to First Nations health tutors and contribute to medical education research.
* Maintain Learning Management Systems: Ensure the Canvas community is updated with relevant curriculum materials.

You will be an experienced health professional with a strong background in First Nations health and curriculum development, possessing excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse educational disciplines.
You may also:
* Be a registered health professional with relevant education experience.
* Have a deep understanding of First Nations health principles.

* Demonstrate strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
