UC / VoIP Support Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated UC / VoIP Support Specialist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to SIP protocol, platform architecture, NBN, Network, and carriers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Troubleshoot and resolve tickets where an understanding of SIP protocol, platform architecture, NBN, Network, and carriers is required.
* Assist with post-sales queries for Meeting Room Systems / AV Solutions.
* Provide technical support across various UC products, including 3CX, Yealink, Fanvil, Grandstream, SNOM, Sennheiser, and Microsoft Teams.
* Install, configure, and maintain PBX systems.
* Provide remote assistance to partners and onsite technicians.
* Assist with scoping and implementation of new VoIP projects.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new VoIP technologies and changes in the field.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Desirable experience with one or more Wholesale Telco providers providing pre-sales advice to clients.
* Strong knowledge of 3CX or similar PBX platform.
* Strong understanding of networking protocols and architecture (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls).
* Strong knowledge of PBX systems, installation, configuration, and management.
* Knowledge of Meeting Rooms / AV Solutions.
* Knowledge of NBN technologies.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Teams Calling.
* Knowledge of VoIP protocols (SIP, H.323, RTP, and RTCP).
* Understanding of cloud communication technologies and how they are used in VoIP solutions.
* Knowledge of security issues and solutions related to VoIP (encryption, authentication, and firewall configuration).
