Practice Manager
We are looking for an organised, proactive, and people-focused Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a busy and growing practice. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading teams, and takes pride in creating efficient systems and a positive workplace culture.
We have two positions available- one at our Wamberal location (Terrigal Dental) and one at our Wyong location (Church St Dental).
About the Role
As Practice Manager, you will oversee the operational, administrative, and team management functions of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily practice operations and workflow
* Lead, support, and manage administrative and clinical support staff
* Manage rostering, leave, and team performance
* Ensure excellent patient/customer service standards
* Monitor KPIs, productivity, and operational efficiency
* Manage billing, invoicing, and financial administration
* Maintain compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and accreditation standards
* Coordinate training, onboarding, and staff development
* Improve systems and processes to support practice growth
* Handle escalated patient or team concerns professionally
* Assist with reception duties as required (if staff are on leave or on lunch)
About You
* Previous experience in practice management, office management, or healthcare administration (dental experience is not required)
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Highly organised with excellent time management
* Confident managing competing priorities
* Ability to problem-solve and make decisions independently
* Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel is highly regarded
