As a Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC), you will play a vital leadership and clinical support role, providing expert advice, care coordination, and consultancy in community health. These contract-based roles offer the opportunity to work autonomously while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve health outcomes in diverse rural populations.
Responsibilities
* Deliver advanced clinical expertise in community and primary health care.
* Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to nursing and allied health staff.
* Develop and implement care plans tailored to community needs.
* Collaborate with local healthcare providers, Indigenous health services, and public health teams.
* Support chronic disease management, preventative health programs, and outreach services.
Requirements
* Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
* Minimum 5 years post-registration experience in community health or primary care.
* ALS & Triage
* Experience in acute or care settings
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Commitment to culturally safe and person-centred care.
* Willingness to travel and adapt to remote and rural environments.
