Mental Health Clinician | Community Mental Health (Acute Care Team) Location: Lismore, NSW Start Date: ASAP Employment: Permanent Full-Time Pay Rate: Level 1-2 Relocation Assistance: Available if eligible About the Role We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Mental Health Clinician to join the Lismore Acute Care Team. In this role, you will play a key part in expanding service capacity and delivering timely support to adults (18) experiencing acute mental health crises. Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will provide assessment, short-term intervention, and coordinate referrals to Adult Mental Health Services or other appropriate external providers. Key Responsibilities Provide community-based acute mental health interventions and crisis response Conduct triage, comprehensive assessments, risk assessment, and safety planning Deliver short-term case management and assertive outreach Provide brief psychoeducation and therapeutic interventions Collaborate in care planning and discharge with internal and external stakeholders Practice in accordance with Trauma-Informed Care and Recovery principles Requirements Qualifications in Psychology or Social Work Current AHPRA registration or AASW eligibility Experience in acute or community mental health settings Strong assessment, crisis intervention, and collaborative care skills Ability to work independently and manage high-pressure clinical situations NSW Driver's Licence and Working With Children Check APPLY NOW For a confidential conversation, contact Lachlan webster via email at lachlan.webster@cmr.com.au .
