Role Description:
* Opportunity for a full-time or part-time role.
* Primarily based in the Drummoyne clinic, with school and childcare visits.
* Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to set and work towards client-centered goals.
* Perform thorough clinical assessments to evaluate the sensory, motor, social/emotional and cognitive abilities of paediatric clients.
* Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans that address identified developmental challenges, and promote functional independence/ participation.
* Foster a collaborative and empowering relationship with families to ensure continuity of care beyond therapy sessions.
About you:
* About to graduate or recently graduated with a recognised Occupational Therapy degree.
* When commencing employment, have a registration with AHPRA, Professional Indemnity Insurance and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
* Current driver's licence, own transport, and willingness to travel using your personal car as required.
* A current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
* Excellent communication, written skills and interpersonal skills.
* A passion and understanding of delivering person-centred, evidence-based OT intervention.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as working autonomously.
* Empathy and patience in working with paediatric clients and their families.
